The History of High Quality Research

High-Quality Research was founded in 1982 as Inhausen Research Institute to serve the research needs of national and international companies. We have grown the range of services offered throughout the company’s 35-year history to reach our present capabilities.
High-Quality Research is a contract research organization with the resources and experience to test your product, provide accurate data, and bring pre-clinical trials to fruition. Let us help ensure the safety and efficacy of your medicine, so you can bring it to market as soon as possible.
Management Team
The management team at High Quality Research has more than 70 years of combined experience in bioscience contract research.
President
Our general manager has over 40 years of experience in the research industry, both in private industry and university research settings, and has been with High Quality Research since 1997. He has extensive experience as a study director and is largely responsible for our excellence in protocol development and implementation. He holds AALAS certifications at the technologist level.
Attending Veterinarian
Our veterinarian joined the staff of High Quality Research in 1996. The doctor received his BS (1983) and DVM (1992) degrees from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, and subsequently completed a residency in lab animal medicine resulting in a MS in Comparative Medicine in 1996 at the University of Washington. He has over 33 years of research experience.
Study Coordinator
Our study coordinator has been with High Quality Research since 1999 and is responsible for study planning, scheduling, and execution.
Facilities
We are conveniently located in Fort Collins, Colorado, in the foothills of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, which is one hour away from Denver. The space allows us to use various species in abroad range of research protocols.
We are a registered animal facility with the USDA.
We have an Animal Welfare Assurance on file with the Office of Laboratory Welfare (OLAW). All animal studies are conducted under:
  • The Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals Guidelines
  • The National Research Council Guide for the Use and Care of Laboratory Animals
  • The Animal Welfare Act
