Red Beast Enterprises Inc. aims to provide the best care available to research dogs and cats while advancing biomedical science. Most of our research studies are for veterinary drugs and treatments for pets.

As a result of the February 2025 USDA inspection at Red Beast Enterprises Inc. we have revised several of our protocols. We inspect the chain link gates in the dog enclosures several times a week to ensure the links aren’t out of place. We have swapped previous food bowls with elevated bowls to prevent wood shavings and other elements from fall in them. We also now remove and disinfect food bowls one hour after feeding. We have also implemented a heartworm prevention protocol. Our veterinarians continue to inspect the animals routinely for external parasites, and to address any health conditions.

Our research animals are adopted out to a reputable sanctuary upon retirement. We have moved up the age of retirement for dogs.

We support adoption of retired animals and aim to provide the best care for them every day.

I believe the updated and revised protocols we have implemented since February are making a difference since our latest USDA inspection report, dated April 30, came back with no citations.
